Dante sends his greetings
07/2020 The Palacio Barolo is not far from the Plaza del Congreso. When it was completed in 1923, it was the tallest building in South America. The building reflects the story from Dante's Divine Comedy. The ground floor is hell, the floors higher up are purgatory and from the 15th floor onwards heaven begins. Above, the house is like a lighthouse and also has a beacon in a glass dome. If you reserve early, you can go up to the glass dome with a small guided group. From there you have a wonderful view of the city and the Plaza del Congreso.
