12/2015 Our day trip begins with Hans, a German emigrant, picking us up in front of the hotel in his 4x4. We drive to a small harbor near River Heads. From there we take the ferry to Fraser Island. Our highlights on the island are the Maheno shipwreck, Eli Creek and Lake McKenzie.
