Video Cape Hillsborough National Park

Lots of parrots, no kangaroos

12/2015 In the morning we drive early from the hotel towards Cape Hillsborough National Park to see kangaroos on the beach. Unfortunately we are unlucky and no animal is to be seen. Instead, whole flocks of black parrots fly over our heads. We take a short hike to a viewpoint and a swamp area. Here you can walk on a wooden walkway across the swamp, where many black crabs make funny noises. In the afternoon we reach our hotel in Airlie Beach.
