Atomium Brussels

10/2010 The Atomium represents an iron crystal structure magnified 165 billion times. The work of art was built for Expo 58 in Brussels. The spheres are connected by 23-meter-long tubes with a diameter of 3.3 meters. Some of them have escalators running through them. In total, there are 20 connecting corridors between the spheres.
