Rio de Janeiro with Escadaria Selaron, Cidade do Samba and Corcovado

From the port to the statue of Christ

07/2020 At our first stop with MSC cruises in Rio de Janeiro, we visited the famous Escadaria Selarón stairs. Afterwards we went on a guided tour in the Cidade do Samba. Very impressive how big the carnival business is in Rio. In the afternoon we went up the Corcovado to the famous Christ the Redeemer statue and a fantastic view over the bay of Rio de Janeiro.
