New Year's Eve fireworks at Copacabana

08/2020 On our South America cruise we had the opportunity to watch the fireworks at Copacabana in Rio de Janeiro from the ship on New Year's Eve. This was a real highlight of our trip. From the water, the New Year's Eve fireworks in Rio look really huge. The approximately 5km long Copacabana beach can be seen in the picture. The fireworks display stretches along the entire length of the beach.
