Round trip Cuba - Havana II of II

A city like in the 60s

02/2017 Our second day in Havana, the capital of Cuba, started with a visit to the Revolution Museum. The building with the beautiful dome contains a number of exhibition spaces both inside and outside. For a time, this was also the seat of government.

Then we went past the Capitol to the old town. A tour of Havana Club was a must. In the afternoon we are on our own through the city. We walked along the beautiful alley of Paeso del Marti to Havana s shopping street, Boulevard de San Rafael.

From there we went past the Capitol and back into the old town to the square at the cathedral. In the vicinity of the Castillo de la Real Fuerza we happened to meet Udo Lindenberg, whom we had previously seen from a cafe at the cathedral. We were kind enough to take a souvenir photo with him.
