Mosaic in the House of the Gladiators in Kourion

01/2022 In the excavation of Kourion at Episkopi there is a place called the house of the gladiators. Not because gladiators lived there, but because there is a beautiful mosaic of two fighting men. The villa was probably built in the second half of the 3rd century AD and later destroyed by an earthquake.
