Columbia Beach Resort review
We stayed at Columbia Beach Resort in December 2021 and are here to review our experience during that time.

Nice big and modern room in mediterranean style
12/2021 Our room was actually by the pool at the Columbia Beach Hotel. Behind the pool was the beach and the sea, but a direct view of the water was not possible because of the difference in height between the beach and the hotel complex.
Our room was large and modern in design. I can't remember anything that would have really bothered me, which actually rarely happens. Even the television was so modern that we could connect it wirelessly to the laptop and watch our series on it.
Very good restaurants and nice staff
There are two restaurants on the Columbia Beach Resort property. Once the Bacchus Italian Gourmet Restaurant. In the evenings there was more upscale cuisine. In the morning there was the indoor and outdoor breakfast room.
The Apollo Restaurant was located between the beach and the hotel pool. There was more Mediterranean cuisine. We liked this restaurant better in terms of the ambience and the selection of dishes. Also, our favorite waiter worked there.
Nice location in Pissouri Bay
The hotel is beautifully situated in Pissouri Bay. Basically it\'s the last hotel before the place ends. From the hotel you can also take a nice little hike along the coast on the Cape Aspro Trail.
Located in the southwest of Cyprus. From here you can make beautiful trips by car, e.g. to Paphos, to the Avakas Gorge or to the Kourion excavations in Episkopi.
The hotel has a nice spa and sports area
The hotel has some sports facilities. We mainly used the spa with swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzi as well as the fitness room. Due to Corona there were still some restrictions. We therefore always had to reserve our visit in advance, because, for example, only two people were allowed to be in the fitness room at the same time.
Das Columbia Beach Resort hat uns sehr gut gefallen
The Columbia Beach Resort fully convinced us. We really enjoyed our time there. The facility was great, the rooms were quiet and nice, the staff was very friendly and we were able to make many beautiful trips with the rental car. More about the facility in our hotel video, see link below.
It was interesting that the occupancy of the hotel fluctuated greatly. Before Christmas we were almost alone, at Christmas it was full, then empty again and full again on New Years Eve.
