Peristyle at the royal tombs of Nea Paphos

01/2022 The excavations of the royal tombs of Nea Paphos are a beautiful place to visit in Cyprus. The town of Paphos is located in the southwest of the island, right by the sea. The photo shows grave 3 of a total of 9 graves.

If you go down the stairs, you come to a small inner courtyard surrounded by a colonnade. This architecture is also called peristyle. The inner courtyard is one of the most beautiful places for a good photo on the excavation site. More in my travel video, see link below.
