04/2018 Our first excursion in the Dominican Republic took us to whale watching in the bay of Samana. There, many humpback whales come together in February and March. We were lucky and could watch a mother with calf. Then we went to the waterfall Cascada Lulu on the Samana peninsula and then on to Bacardi Island, Cayo Levantado for a bathing stop.
