El Quseir: Hotel Radisson Blu

11/2009 We stayed at the Radisson Blu Hotel in El Quseir in Egypt in November 2009. We were able to enjoy the sun and the warm, dry climate there for 10 days. The hotel is like a bungalow complex. The Radisson Blu complex is well maintained and has a wellness area, a fitness room and various restaurants. The restaurants are top-notch for Egypt. The food was very good and varied. The wellness treatments are less recommended. The beach is clean and has an offshore reef. In autumn, however, the winds and waves are often so strong that you can only snorkel between the reef and the hotel beach. But there are still a lot of things to discover here. What is also practical is that the entire Radisson Blu complex has free Wi-Fi, even on the beach and by the pool. The only bitter pill is that drinks from the minibar are not free despite the all-inclusive package. That's really not acceptable! Our tour guide neglected to point this out to us and we ended up with a big bill when we left. After long negotiations with the hotel, we managed to get a 30% discount. You should also be careful in the shops in the hotel. The prices there are sometimes extremely high! Otherwise, the Radisson Blu Hotel is great, especially if you want to soak up some sun in the autumn.
