Room in the wellness-wing
11/2012 Our hotel room was located in the wellness-wing of the hotel. The building is not particularly attractive from inside and outside, but you can walk from the room to the spa or the main building with the restaurant, without having to go outside. In the fall in bad weather a big advantage. The room was large and clean. The bed very comfortable, not to mention the cozy wing chair.
Very crowded restaurants
The restaurant is located in the main building, an old Art Nouveau building. The restaurant is cozy. During our stay there were several meetings in the hotel, as well as a group of young people, that made a lot of noise. The breakfast itself was great. Everything was there, what you need for a good breakfast. The dinner was rather mediocre. Although we had a four-course meal, but the same food was available with more choice at the buffet. So we decided to take the buffet for the other two evenings. The salads, soups and antipasti were great. The main course was not so good. But fortunately there are other restaurants in the large royal park area.
Fantastic location in the park
The hotel is nestled in the royal summer residence. In former times this jewel was reserved only for kings and nobles and especially Bavarian King Ludwig I was inspired by the idyll of nature and helped the Staatsbad to glory and honor. While walking over the terrain you can discover so many beautiful corners. Otherwise Bad Kissingen is not far away. Equally beautiful are trips to the nearby Wasserkuppe or the Schwarzen Moor (black moor).
Great spa-area
The spa and wellness area are located in a separate building. On three floors there is an indoor and outdoor pool, two relaxation rooms with comfortable loungers, a fitness room, a steam bath, two saunas, several sauna and Kneipp pools and a sole grotto with pool. Drinks are available free of charge from the three springs of Bad Brückenau. There we liked it very much.
Conclusion: small oasis for wellness fans
The Dorint Hotel in Bad Brückenau is definitely recommended. Especially for wellness fans, the hotel is a small oasis. The park around the hotel is absolutely amazing! The facility is located outside Bad Brückenau. Here you really have your peace.
