House of a great painter
03/2024 In Nuremberg stands the Albrecht Duerer House, which is now a museum. From 1509 it served as Albrecht Duerer's home and workplace until his death in 1528. The house itself was built around 1420. Despite severe damage, the Dürer House survived the almost complete destruction of Nuremberg's old town at the end of the Second World War surprisingly well. I took the photo through a blossoming tree that stands in the square in front of the house. It looks so beautiful in spring.
