Rock breakthrough with hiking trail

03/2024 At Easter we went hiking near Nuremberg. Our tour took us through the Schwarzachklamm. The photo shows the highlight of the tour, the Schwarzach breakthrough. Here you can hike through an impressive hole in the rock. All in all, the hike is highly recommended. The Schwarzach is a quiet river that has carved its way into the region's red sandstone over the millennia. The result is a great gorge and beautiful red rocks.
