Small rooms, but comfortable
04/2016 The room at Motel One is small but comfortable. Next to the front door, is the small bathroom. The shower is surprisingly large for the room size. Everything is in modern colors and equipped with contemporary fittings. Despite the tenth floor, the water pressure at the sink and in the shower is very pleasant. The room has a double bed, a small desk and a chair. The windows can be opened completely. Next to the bed there is a power outlet on each side, which is very useful for the cell phone charger. Only the mattress could be a bit softer. Free Wi-Fi is also available. The access code is printed directly on the invoice at check-in.
Breakfast at the lobby
A real restaurant is not available. Breakfast is available in the lobby. At two counters you take bread, coffee and fruits. Seating is available on sofas, armchairs and on some tables with chairs, depending on what you prefere.
Located directly at the Central Station
For business trips or a short trip to Berlin, the Motel One at Berlin Central Station is perfect. From the main train station you have fast connections throughout the city. The hotel is located just 50 meters from the main train station.
Conclusion: good choice for business travel
For business travel, the Motel One is ideal. For a private weekend in Berlin, I would rather book another hotel, as I would like to have more space in the room. Otherwise, the value for money in this hotel is definitely right.
