Wellness and culture weekend in Northern Hesse

11/2014 For a wellness weekend, we stayed in the Welcome Hotel next to the castle in Bad Arolsen. The town's residential castle from the Baroque period has been beautifully renovated. A tour of the castle is not cheap, but it is worth a visit for those interested. The interior rooms and furnishings are very well preserved. A large part of the town is also in the Baroque style and a walk around is worthwhile.
