Mobile induction hob from Hendi model Kitchen Line
08/2025 We've had an outdoor kitchen, or garden kitchen, since this year. Therefore, we were looking for an induction hob that was mobile and could be set up as needed. We ordered and tested various hobs. Most of them didn't appeal to us. The main reasons were usually the noise level of the fans and the power. If you want to fry something in a pan on a mobile induction hob, we generally recommend a device with more than 2000 watts. We realized that 2000 watts isn't all that much, and you have to wait quite a while when frying, for example, zucchini fritters. Therefore, we ordered the 3500-watt Kitchen Line induction hob from Hendi.
Basic properties
The Kitchen Line induction hob from Hendi boasts a powerful 3500 watts. What stands out about this model is its clean design and a very large cooking surface with a diameter of 28 cm. Consequently, even very large pots and pans can be used on the appliance. However, the appliance is also very large at 44 x 34 x 8 cm and quite heavy at almost 6.7 kg. The surface, however, is beautifully smooth and easy to clean. The few buttons appear uncluttered and are intuitive to use. Fortunately, unlike other manufacturers, none of those unnecessary functions have been included here that nobody needs and are merely used as a selling point.
Operation
The Hendi Kitchen Line delivers 3500 watts. This is a decent amount of power, allowing everything to be heated quickly. Naturally, this also generates heat inside the appliance. The appliance has two fans for cooling. These suck in the air from under the appliance and expel it back through ventilation slots on the side. This works well compared to other appliances. However, we were bothered by the fact that the fan noise was rather loud at around 34 decibels and uneven in tone. Here is the audio file of the fan noise
Conclusion
The Kitchen Line induction cooker from Hendi is a high-quality appliance and well-suited for large pots and pans. Its 3500-watt output provides enough power for all purposes. However, we were ultimately bothered by the rather loud and uneven fan noise. Therefore, we returned the appliance and ultimately opted for the Pro Line induction cooker from Hendi.
