Mobile induction hob from Hendi model 3500 M Profi Line
08/2025 We've had a garden kitchen since this year. Therefore, we were looking for a mobile induction hob so we could cook or fry something in the garden kitchen when needed. We ordered several appliances to test. Two key findings: a) 2000 watts is far too little; b) most appliances are far too loud or make unpleasant noises when power is supplied to the induction coil. We finally settled on Hendi and ordered, among other things, the 3500 M model from the Profi Line.
Basic properties
The Hendi Model 3500 M mobile induction hob from the Profi Line has 3500 watts of power. The appliance is very easy to use. The rotary knob turns the hob on and adjusts the power. A small display with red numbers indicates the wattage. 2500-3000 watts is sufficient for most dishes. Measuring 33 x 44 x 11 cm, the appliance is somewhat taller than most appliances in this class. However, it should be noted that the height means the distance from the floor is greater, and therefore the ventilation noise is quieter. At 5.2 kg, the appliance is within the normal weight range. The appliance has a sleek and uncluttered appearance and is easy to clean. The cooking surface is designed for pots and pans up to 26 cm in diameter.
Operation
The Hendi 3500 M induction hob has a larger fan that draws in air from the bottom of the appliance. The manufacturer even included a kind of air filter. The air is expelled from the back of the appliance. The fan noise was the most pleasant of all the appliances tested. The volume is just under 30 decibels. The sound is a steady, pleasant hum. The noise is the same across all power levels. If the appliance is warm from cooking, the fan continues to run for some time after the appliance has been switched off, depending on the temperature, to cool it down. Conclusion
We were impressed by the 3500 M model from Hendi Profi Line. We ended up buying it and returning all the others. We've used it several times now to cook or pan-fry food. It all worked wonderfully. The 3500 watts provide enough power for everything we've cooked so far. A pleasant and as quiet a fan noise as possible was also important to us. Furthermore, during our tests, we found that with other appliances, the surface (e.g., the kitchen countertop) got extremely hot. This isn't the case with this Hendi appliance, as the exhaust air escapes from the rear and the appliance has large rubber feet, thus providing plenty of ground clearance. We can recommend this appliance from personal experience.
