Honey planets for our bees

07/2015 Bees are incredible animals. They graze on every flower in our garden almost tirelessly. The flowers of a leek plant are particularly popular - the leek balls. Like little purple honey planets, they seem to be a magnet for the busy bees. There is a bee sitting on each ball and the trick with this photo was to photograph just one and not the whole swarm. It's really nice to watch how nature works.
