Worth seeing landscape park

10/2021 At 560 hectares, the Bergpark Wilhelmshöhe near Kassel is the largest in Europe. The historic complex with its buildings, the garden architecture and its water features is unique. For this reason, Bergpark Wilhelmshöhe was recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2013. Hercules, an 8.30 meter high copper statue, is Kassel's landmark.

The water games can be admired on Wednesdays, Sundays and public holidays from May 1st to October 3rd. We walked the park at the end of October and enjoyed the autumnal atmosphere. There were no water features that day.
