Half-timbered houses in the Hessenpark Open Air Museum

Open-air museum Hessenpark Neu-Anspach

09/2009 If you are looking for a destination for a day trip in Hesse when the weather is nice, you should consider the Hessenpark in Neu Anspach. The open-air museum has a large collection of historic half-timbered houses and other buildings that have been faithfully rebuilt. Some of the buildings can also be viewed from the inside. The museum is open from the beginning of March to the end of October. There are also a number of arts and crafts businesses in front of the museum. It is well worth a visit.
