For our wedding anniversary in 2012 we chose the Kempinski Grand Falkenstein Hotel in a district of Koenigstein.

Large newly renovated suite
08/2012 We rented a suite. Cheap offers can often be found on the Internet. Everything was tip-top and relatively newly renovated. You could almost get lost in the many rooms. Some of the rooms had a view of the park. The room was stylish and stately furnished. I particularly liked the bright, friendly colors in the rooms.
Top cuisine
The breakfast offers everything you need. In addition, from the breakfast terrace you have a great view of the Rhine-Main plain with the Frankfurt skyline. If the weather is nice, dinner takes place on a small forecourt with a view of the park. You can really have a good time here. Professionals offer everything your heart desires. We had a multi-course meal with a good white wine from the region.
In the middle of the green
If you are looking for a hotel to relax in, this is the right place for you. Although Frankfurt's skyline is within reach, it's still a 30-minute drive to the city by car. In the surrounding area you can especially go hiking. The nearby Falkenstein castle ruins offer a nice destination.
Beautiful outdoor pool with a view
Anyone who wants to spend time in the hotel can do that too. There is a small wellness area. The outdoor pool with loungers in the sun is particularly nice. If it is too warm or cold outside, you can go inside. There is a sauna and a small whirlpool.
Conclusion:
Gladly again. We really enjoyed our stay. The great room, the good food and the excellent service of a five star hotel leave nothing to be desired.
