Once chalk cliffs and back

08/2008 Surprisingly, our summer holiday on the Baltic Sea in Rügen also turned into our honeymoon. Rügen was ideal for a relaxed honeymoon. With our bikes in our luggage, we explored the island by car and not only. After two rainy days, we got the sunshine we deserved and were able to relax on the beach. The only downside to Rügen is the many traffic jams and the many parking meters that can be found even in the most remote forest car parks. The entrance fee of 6 euros per person to the viewing platform on the Königsstuhl is also a complete rip-off. Here's our tip: go to the Victoriasicht next door. Here you have the same view of the sea and the view of the Königsstuhl too!
