Landscape at Cape Arkona on Ruegen
The picture shows the remaining Germanic sacrificial stones. The placement of the giant Nobbin mountain is reminiscent of Stonehenge on the Baltic Sea.

Giant mountain Nobbin on Ruegen
08/2008 This picture was taken on a bike ride to Cape Arkona on Ruegen. Apparently this is a kind of Stonehenge on the Baltic island. In history, Germanic tribes such as the Rugians and Ranians lived on the island. Many stone monuments from this period can be found all over Ruegen, such as megalithic tombs and sacrificial stones, which have been preserved to this day. Together with the blue sky, this photo is really worth a wallpaper for your screen background.
