08/2024 The Marksburg near Braubach is located about 160 meters above the Rhine. The medieval hilltop castle is the only castle on the Middle Rhine that has never been destroyed. Therefore, the entire complex has hardly changed since it was built. Anyone who visits it gets a really good impression of how people lived in the Middle Ages. We were at the Marksburg in 2020 and visited it. You can find the video below.
