11/2010 Last weekend we went on a tour to Erfurt. The program included a tour of the old town and a visit to the Christmas market. This is on the cathedral square in Erfurt. The mighty building provides a unique backdrop for the Christmas market. If you've had enough of the hustle and bustle between the mulled wine stands and stalls, you should walk a few meters up the Petersberg to the citadel. From up there you have a wonderful view of the cathedral, the Christmas market and the old town of Erfurt.
