Very nice combination of than and modern
09/2021 Our room at the Kipi Suites Hotel was very nice. The special thing was that the elements of an old stone house were combined with modern elements. So you could see the old stone walls or the exposed roof beams, at the same time there were modern LED light strips that allowed indirect lighting. The bed was comfortable and the room was more than adequate to generous in size. Only the wooden floor in the shower I didn't find ideal from a hygiene point of view.
Breakfast with a view
We only had breakfast at the hotel. You could either sit inside at a handful of tables or outside on the terrace with a view of the surrounding area. But since it was still very fresh in the morning, we decided to have breakfast inside. There was breakfast from the buffet, complemented by little things from the kitchen, such as fresh scrambled eggs or juices. Altogether ok, but also not a particularly unusual offer.
In the midst of the beautiful mountains
The hotel Kipi Suites is located in the middle of the secluded nature in a small mountain village. The town of Kipoi or Kipi is a small town that stretches up the mountain slopes. The place consists almost entirely of houses in traditional construction with natural stone, even on the roof. A really great environment. Unlike other regions in Greece, it is very green here and it gets quite cold outside at night.
Old stone bridges in the region
The hotel itself has no other special features. What is special about the region, however, are the many old stone bridges made of layered natural stone. The photo shows the Kapetan Arkouda Bridge, which is one of the bridges from the area.
Conclusion: gladly again
We stayed two nights in this hotel. We enjoyed our stay very much. The owners are nice and the hotel has a very pleasant atmosphere. Rooms and beds are very nice! The view is particularly beautiful, as you can see in the photo.
