Dreamy view like on a postcard
08/2013 The Greek island of Symi is a small island in the southern part of Greece. The island's harbor is a real gem. All of the houses are brightly painted. Not everything is new, but even the more dilapidated houses have their charm. You can take a boat from Rhodes to Symi in about two hours. The small island used to live off the sale of sea sponges. The wealth of that time can still be seen today. In the harbor of Symi you can still buy sea sponges and other exciting things. If you are on the island, you should definitely eat in one of the great restaurants at the harbor. The fresh fish on Symi tastes fantastic!
