Monastery like a fortress in the mountains

09/2021 Like the other Meteora monasteries, Rousanou Monastery is situated on a rocky pillar in the mountains above Kalambaka. I took the photo with a telephoto zoom from the Metamorphosis Monastery parking lot. More in the travel video, see link below.
