The amazing beautiful southeast of Iceland

Versatility of nature

01/2021 Our day in the southeast of Iceland started at Diamond Beach, a black sand beach with shiny pieces of glacial ice lying around like diamonds. Then we went on a boat tour on the Jökulsarlon glacier lagoon. Then we went for many kilometers past Höfn and the small port of Djupivogur to a very beautiful waterfall. At Flögufoss, the water falls through a natural stone arch. Our destination at the end of the day was the Stormur Cottages near Egilsstadir.
