01/2021 If you are out and about in Iceland in summer, you will always be able to enjoy the extensive lupine meadows. A very nice example is this photo of a whole mountain landscape in purple tones. The lupine was introduced to Iceland because it copes well with the climate and protects the soil from erosion. However, the plant has spread further than originally intended.
