Whale Watching Tour in Akureyri Bay

Nutshell

03/2021 Rather by chance we ended up north of Akureyri at the Strytan Divecenter. We were able to observe whales from the shore with binoculars/telephoto lenses. Whale watching tours with small boats like the one in the photo also start from the dive center. The rough sea rocked the tourists properly. I really liked the scene with the boat, the lake and the snowy mountains - great wallpaper!
