06/2021 The Brimketill Lava Rock Pool on the shore of the Reykjanes Peninsula looks inviting in this drone photo. Most of all you want to swim a lap right away. However, the pool is on a cliff and is not accessible.
It would also be far too dangerous, because high waves keep crashing over the natural rocky outskirts. Also, the water is probably ice cold. But it is beautiful nonetheless and from the viewing platform you have a beautiful view of the rough coast.
