Around Frouth Rock Arch

Large rock arch

04/2023 A tourist highlight in Wadi Rum is a large rock arch, the Um Frouth Rock Arch. Those brave enough and free from vertigo can climb the steep rock face. On the right side of the picture, you can see the beginnings of steps on the steep wall. Most tourists had trouble getting back down, as the rock is quite slippery due to the sand. The descent was usually done sliding on their bottoms.
