Rails in the sand

03/2023 A lovely stop on the way to Wadi Rum in southern Jordan is the Wadi Rum train station. There are several museum-worthy trains here, as well as a beautiful old steam locomotive from the Al Hijaz Railway. I also liked this perspective from the old locomotive. The view ahead into the desert with the mountains on the horizon. The tracks almost seem to disappear into the sand.
