04/2023 Kerak Castle is located in the city of the same name in Jordan. We took a self-guided tour of the medieval complex. There were many fascinating and beautiful things to discover. One fascinating room was this vault with two millstones and a hole in the ceiling through which the midday sun shone. The dust in the air made the rays visible.
