04/2023 That the rock houses in Petra were once lavishly decorated can be glimpsed here in a small niche of a rock house in Little Petra. A small piece of the historic ceiling decoration has been preserved here. Vine leaves entwine across the ceiling, interspersed with small boys with musical instruments.
