04/2023 If you'd like to stay in a bubble hotel, you'll have a wide selection here in Petra. Hotels with spherical bubbles containing hotel rooms can be found throughout the landscape. After Wadi Rum, we stayed in another bubble hotel here, the Bubble Luxotel Petra. The special thing here was that the bubbles had no supporting structure, but were inflated by "overpressure." This had the slight disadvantage that there was always a faint fan noise in the room. But it wasn't any louder than the air conditioning.
