On a camel through the desert

04/2023 On our second day, we booked a camel tour in Wadi Rum for the late afternoon. A local resident was waiting for us in front of the hotel. I took this photo before the tour. The trip turned out to be a fantastic experience. With the guide, we walked across the plain to a rock arch and back again. The only thing that's a bit shaky is the moment when the camel stands up or sits down again, and if you don't hold on tight, you'll quickly end up lying in the sand (luckily, that didn't happen to us).
