Vault in Shobak Castle

03/2023 This dark vault could be seen in the Crusader Castle Montreal, also known as Shobak Castle. The castle is located in Shobak in Jordan. It was built in 1115 to secure a trade route from Jerusalem to Aqaba and to collect tolls from caravans. The complex is huge, but essentially a ruin. Even though much of it is broken, there are many places in the complex worth seeing.
