Facades on the mountain

03/2023 What impressed me most about Petra is that it is not just a small, enclosed area, but more of a whole mountain landscape, which is criss-crossed by great facades of old buildings, dwellings, temples and tombs. On our hike on the Wadi Farasa Trail, we also passed Ez-Zantour Hill. From there you have a great view of many smaller facades on steep rock faces. Some still seem to be in use today. There was even a 4WD car parked in front of one or two of the temples.
