03/2023 If you have a little more time in Petra, a hike on the Wadi Farasa Trail is also worthwhile. This path takes you through a valley up into the mountains to the High Place of Sacrifice. There are many highlights along the way, such as the Garden Temple (Garden Triclinium), which can be seen in the picture. The temple seems hidden in the mountains. If I had built something here 2,000 years ago, it would have been right here.
