03/2023 The rock staircase in Wadi Farasa is a long staircase hewn out of the natural rock that leads from the soldier's grave to the garden temple. It is impressive how the historical buildings can still be seen and used after thousands of years. If you have planned some time for the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Petra in Jordan, I can only recommend the hike on the Wadi Farasa Trail to the High Place of Sacrifice. Here you can see beautiful buildings, away from the busy routes in Petra.
