Gorge with great temples and tombs

03/2023 Anyone entering the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Petra in Jordan through the main entrance will first pass the Treasury. Those who follow the path further will walk through the street of facades. To the right and left you will find various tombs and temples that have been carved into the rock. The photo shows the end of the gorge, where it widens and opens up to a plain. The early morning sun gives the picture a great atmosphere.
