03/2023 The Great Temple is located almost in the center of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Petra. According to experts, the term temple is incorrect, as it must have been more of a representative building. The small theater was probably only built in the late first century AD. From up here you have a great view of the complex and the landscape of Petra in the background.
