03/2023 Anyone who hikes the Wadi Farasa Trail in Petra, Jordan, will automatically pass the Garden Temple. The small temple is so named because it is located in a small, idyllic valley with broom and oleander bushes. To this day, it is unclear exactly what the building with a huge cistern was used for. However, it seems to belong to the building complex of the soldiers' grave and the colorful temple, which at the time blocked off access to this part of the valley. It is possible that a private garden was actually operated here.
