12/2022 The dome of the Rotunda of Mosta is huge and very impressive. Overall, the church is very beautiful and impressive in terms of its design! The church also has a special history. On a night of bombing on April 9, 1942, many people sought refuge in the church when a bomb suddenly fell through the roof onto the church floor. Fortunately for everyone present, the bomb did not explode. This is celebrated here as a miracle. The defused bomb is on display in an adjoining room and the hole in the dome can still be seen today (see picture).
