Seaside settlement from historical times
04/2011 From Chetumal our journey continued to the excavations in Tulum. On the way we stopped for a swim at Cenote Azul. The excavations in Tulum are right by the sea. There are no huge pyramids here, but the location on the beach is something special. All other archaeological excavations are located further inland. After the stop in Tulum our tour ended and all participants were taken to their beach hotels.
