Unesco World Heritage Site Ait Ben Haddou

11/2015 On our tour of Morocco we also visited the small town of Ait Ben Haddou. The special thing here is the palace made of clay that nestles on the side of a mountain from the river to the top. The Ait Ben Haddou palace has been a protected world heritage site since 1987 and has served as a backdrop for many films since the 1960s. Most recently in 2012 for the series Game of Thrones.
